2. The Hydrogen Atom, H2, Water, Carbon Dioxide and Photosynthesis
What is an atom? What makes up an atom? As we discovered in the H2 hydrogen atom model, Chapter 9, H is not a chemical element, but is really the unstable combination of an electron and a proton that we call a neutron. So we see in Intelligent Design Theory of organic chemistry, the neutron H does not occur; only multiples of H2 atoms occur. This fact should confirm that both the Intelligent Design of the atom and the Intelligent Design of photosynthesis taking in carbon dioxide and water and exuding oxygen into the atmosphere so animals can breathe, and plants producing foods so animals can live is a much more logical way of studying atomic physics and chemistry. Yet our courts prohibit the study of this forbidden knowledge from being taught in public schools.
Knowing that H is really an unstable neutron and not an atom should lead us to a revolution in the world of chemistry. First, we know that hydrochloric acid, HCl, is not really HCl, but more likely H2Cl2.
A New Chenistry
What we have just discussed leads us into a new chemistry. We know that H does not exist. Only H2 exists in the natural world. This opens a new field of science that is beyond the scope of this book. I have not yet sorted out all the facts. Cl does not exist in nature, either. So, how do we get HCl? Or is it really H2Cl2? And is sodium chloride NaCl, or is it really Na2Cl2? I know that most everyone will say I am crazy, but let's look a little farther.
O does not exist in nature. In electrolysis, only O2 comes off the negative electrode. So is water H2O, or is it really H2O2H2?

We know that H2 and O2 can exist together until heat, a severe vibration of the electrons causes a chain atomic reaction in which H2 and O2 combine to make water. Does the H2 separate into two unstable neutrons? Which combination gives water its strange characteristics? Water has at least twenty-one unique properties, characteristics that it is not supposed to have. Ice floats, when it should sink. Lakes turn over when their surface water is 3.9 °C instead of 0°C. Water boils at plus 100°C instead of minus 70°C. Nitrogen wraps around the water molecule to make protein, which makes life possible. All these and many other anomalies of water may not be anomalies at all, but natural characteristics of H2O2H2.
We can immediately see why the H2 atoms in water are oriented 15.3 degrees apart. Just as hydrogen atoms in a balloon repel each other, the hydrogen atoms in water are trying to get away from the hydrogen atoms on the opposite side of the O2. You can also picture this from the free electrons in Figure 3, where the outer electrons get as far away from each other as possible. In my section on light, you will see why diatomic oxygen comes off one electrode, and diatomic hydrogen comes from another electrode several inches away. A knowledge of the atom answers many questions. I don't know all the answers. I just know that many answers may be given to things that we cannot now explain.
Then we should begin calling what we now call H2 what it really is: H. If we would do what is right, every H2 in the above tables would be rewritten as H. Water would then become HO instead of H2O, hydrochloric acid would become HCl2 instead of HCl and so on for all of our other misconceived compounds of H. I will not do so in this book because it would be too confusing. But we now know that all chemistry books ought to be rewritten.
